Eliza and Ensley’s Memorial Fund
Our sweet babies Eliza Joy and Ensley Grace Taylor were born on August 6, 2018. Due to complications from a rare set of birth defects called limb body wall complex, both Eliza and Ensley passed away the minute they were born.
As we continue to walk through the hardest time in our lives, we are grateful for the chance to honor our precious daughters.
Our desire is honor Eliza and Ensley with a memorial fund in their name. We hope to give back every year on their birthday– or as often as we can–to other families who have to face circumstances like ours.
Because of Eliza and Ensley, our hearts are softened to families who have to fight for their babies. Tom and I were both convicted by the compassion and kindness of our palliative care team at Johns Hopkins Hospital, who gave us exceptional care and emotional support and helped us by giving parking passes, meal tickets, gas cards, professional photography and memory making services. All of it was donated and we will remember it always. We know the best way to honor our amazing daughters is to give back in their name to provide support to other families.
In all of this we remain ever convinced that even in the most impossible circumstances, God promises joy and endless grace.
